Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Solarix Minecraft server ("Server"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the Server operators. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Server. These Terms apply to the Server, our Discord (https://dsc.gg/solarix), and our website (https://shop.solarixmc.com/).

1. Acceptance of Terms
By joining the Server, creating an account, or participating in any activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any future updates. We may modify these Terms at any time, and the latest version will be posted at https://shop.solarixmc.com/legal/terms. Continued use of the Server constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Server, as per the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable laws. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. By using the Server, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Server Rules and User Conduct
To ensure a friendly and fair environment, you must follow these rules across the Server and our Discord:
- Account Usage: Use only one Minecraft account per player. Using alternate accounts ("alts") to bypass bans, mutes, or restrictions, or connecting with multiple accounts simultaneously, is prohibited and will result in permanent bans of all associated accounts.
- Nicknames: Usernames must be appropriate, avoiding vulgar, offensive, discriminatory, or misleading content (e.g., impersonating staff or other players). Inappropriate nicknames will lead to a forced name change or ban.
- Skins: Skins must not contain inappropriate content (e.g., explicit, political, racist, or offensive symbols). Violators will be required to change their skin or face a ban.
- Hacks and Cheats: Using hacks, cheats, or unauthorized mods/clients (e.g., X-ray, kill aura, auto-clickers, macros, or any modification giving an unfair advantage) is strictly prohibited. Detection results in an immediate ban. Connecting with modified clients, even if disabled, is at your own risk.
- Chat Behavior: Prohibited actions include:
- Vulgar language, insults, or harassment.
- Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or other characteristics.
- Spamming, flooding, or excessive use of Caps Lock.
- Sharing malicious links, personal information, or fake Server announcements.
- Content inappropriate for younger audiences (e.g., sexualization, drug references).
- Advertising: Promoting other servers, social media, or external services (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, Discord) without staff permission is not allowed, except for approved content creators with specific privileges.
- Griefing and Theft: Destroying, damaging, or stealing other players’ property without permission is prohibited.
- Gameplay Interference: Actions that ruin others’ experience, such as intentional lag creation, blocking spawns, or exploiting game mechanics, are not allowed.
- Teaming: In future minigames (e.g., boxfight, bedwars, oneblock), teaming is prohibited unless explicitly allowed by the game mode rules. Teaming to unfairly target players or boost stats will result in penalties.
- Stat Boosting: Unfairly inflating stats (e.g., through boosting, botting, or intentional deaths) is prohibited. Players who fail to report others boosting stats may also face penalties.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be staff, other players, or affiliated entities is not allowed.
- DDoS and Cyberattacks: Attempting or threatening to perform DDoS attacks, hacking, or any malicious actions against the Server, its players, or infrastructure is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent bans and legal action.
Violations may result in warnings, mutes, temporary bans, or permanent bans at staff discretion. If you disagree with a punishment, appeal by opening a ticket on our Discord at https://dsc.gg/solarix. Appeals via other channels will be ignored.

4. Bug Reporting
You must report any bugs, glitches, or exploits discovered on the Server immediately via a Discord ticket at https://dsc.gg/solarix or by emailing [email protected]. Exploiting bugs or failing to report them will result in a permanent ban.

5. Trading and Transactions
Selling, trading, or exchanging Server items, ranks, accounts, or stats for real money, cryptocurrencies, or external goods is strictly prohibited. Trading or selling accounts is also not allowed. Violators will face permanent bans of all involved accounts. The only authorized platform for purchasing items, ranks, or perks is our official website at https://shop.solarixmc.com/. If you take ownership of an account, you must request a stat reset via Discord to avoid penalties for inherited stats.

6. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for securing your account. Do not share login credentials. We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized access from your failure to secure your account. If you suspect a compromise, contact us at [email protected] or via Discord at https://dsc.gg/solarix.

7. Intellectual Property
All Server content, including builds, plugins, designs, and branding, belongs to the Server operators or their licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or claim ownership without written permission. User-generated content (e.g., builds) grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and store it for Server purposes.

8. Purchases and Donations
Purchases or donations for items, ranks, or perks via https://shop.solarixmc.com/ are non-refundable unless required by law. Transactions are subject to our payment processor’s terms. We may modify or discontinue paid features without liability, provided existing purchases remain unaffected.

9. Privacy
We collect data like usernames, IP addresses, and gameplay info to operate the Server. By using the Server, you consent to this collection. See our Privacy Policy at https://shop.solarixmc.com/legal/privacy. We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

10. Termination and Bans
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including violation of these Terms, disruptive behavior, or suspected illegal activity. Termination results in loss of access and purchases without refund, unless required by law. Appeal bans via Discord at https://dsc.gg/solarix.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Server is provided “as is” without warranties, express or implied, including for uptime, performance, or error-free operation. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or bug-free service.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Server operators, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages from your use of the Server, including loss of data, items, or access. Liability is limited to the minimum required by law where restrictions apply.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Server operators, staff, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Server, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled by courts in Prague. You waive rights to class actions or collective claims.

15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures due to events beyond our control, such as server outages, cyberattacks, natural disasters, or legal changes.

16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms, with revisions posted at https://shop.solarixmc.com/legal/terms. Check regularly for updates. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
